Introductio of Megumi Fushiguro
Megumi Fushiguro is the deuteragonist of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. Along with Yuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki, he is a first-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High and a grade 2 jujutsu sorcerer. Megumi Fushiguro is Tsumiki Fushiguro’s step-brother and a member of the Zenin Clan since she is Toji Fushiguro’s son. As Toji’s trump card, Megumi was born outside the clan. Eventually, Satoru Gojo discovered him, nurtured him, and enrolled him as a student at Jujutsu High.

Can Megumi Control Sukuna?
Megumi was initially resisting Sukuna’s attempts to control her body, so Sukuna had some trouble. By using Cursed Energy to perform an old bath ritual, Uraume intervened and assisted Sukuna. This gave him far greater influence over the body since it effectively transformed Megumi’s body into a cursed object, or something similar.
To break Fushiguro’s spirit, Sukuna had to kill Yorozu, the sorcerer who had taken over the body of Megumi’s comatose sister, Tsumiki. This is exactly what happened and what is currently happening in the manga. However, Sukuna found that he was still having trouble taking control of the body, so he had to take further steps.
Unlike Itadori, Sukuna has total control over Megumi since his spirit was broken upon witnessing his sister taken over by another evil sorcerer. Furthermore, Megumi’s cursed technique allows Sukuna to use it for himself in Jujutsu Kaisen, which he does by calling forth an enormous version of Nue.

When Does Sukuna Take Over Megumi?
In chapter 212, Sukuna took Itadori’s body and Megumi asks why Sukuna appears now of all times when he reveals he is unable to killing anyone. Sukuna breaks his soul into one finger after stating that it’s a gamble. After taking it off, he waits a moment before laughing since he is certain he hasn’t broken the binding vow. This shows that Yuji was not one of the people Sukuna was able to harm, which the King of Curses highlights was a stupid mistake.
Megumi attempts to summon Mahoraga but Sukuna uses his speed to interrupt the necessary hand signs. Megumi is forced to eat Sukuna’s severed pinky finger after he takes over his body. Sukuna completely separates from Yuji’s body and takes control of Megumi. Sukuna tells Yuji about the day he told the sorcerer he would see something interesting as he looks to see that his friend has been taken over.
Can Megumi Control Mahoraga?
That being said, controlling Mahoraga is no different from controlling any of the other shikigami in the Ten Shadows. To fully gain control, the user must defeat the shadow in an excorcism ritual.
This is a major reason in why we don’t see Megumi use Mahoraga much in the series—he isn’t strong enough to exorcise him on his own, therefore it would unavoidably kill him too. Thereby it’s a last ditch effort which he can use as a trump card if he knows he’s bound to die anyways.
Who Can Control Sukuna?
Because Yuji Itadori spent much of his time with his friends, he was able to control Ryomen Sukuna. He might go on a rampage if Yuji allowed the King of Curses to take control of his body. Strong curses can be subdued by this strong sense of responsibility to protect others.
